Analyst (Business Support & Operations )

Under general supervision, analyzes customer business needs and participates in the planning, design and implementation of new and/or enhanced systems. Supports the user community in the use of functional business tools and support systems.

Specific duties include (but are not limited to):
Facilitate analysis sessions
Gather and prepare business user requirements for system changes
Analyze and model requirements
Creation of test plans, test cases and test scripts to validate business requirements
Tests and/or coordinates testing of new installations or upgrades
Consults with vendors or technical staff to insure that functionality of automated system is consistent with adherence to laws, regulations, and best practice standards by users
Assists in the development of standards and procedures used in development of new or enhancement of existing systems
Participates in the establishment of standards and procedures to be used in the development of systems
Researches and analyzes system/user problems by applying a variety of analytical and research techniques
Secure customer buy-in and signoff on business analysis work products.

REQUIREMENTS
BS or BA in Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science or equivalent related experience
Experience working as a Business Analyst or related role, 4+ years
Experience working with both customer groups & IT resources
Experience developing/prototyping products, software applications, and/or data modeling is a plus
Experience with automated reporting tools and methodologies is a plus
Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills, and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical people and vice versa
Must have the ability to work closely with customers in defining and documenting business requests and requirements to determine current and future business processes
Experience in analyzing information using various statistical methods to identify patterns is a plus
Experience developing reports and presentations to share analysis results and recommendations with management and others a plus
Must have exceptional interpersonal teamwork skills
Must be pro-active in solving work-related problems
Must be self-motivated to accomplish goals and meet deadlines

Other Notes:
Client will conduct a background check on all candidates considered for the position. Individuals must be compliant with Georgia tax obligations.

Individuals having any overdue and unpaid taxes or any felony convictions (no matter how long ago) will not be offered the position or hired.

Candidates must be willing to relocate to Georgia for at least the duration of the project, if not already a resident of Georgia.

Project duration is 12 months, possibly extended based on need.
