Job Description:
Provides overall direction, guidance and definition of an enterprise''s architecture to effectively support the corporate business strategy.
Responsibilities include researching, analyzing, designing, proposing, and delivering solutions that are appropriate for the business and technology strategies.
Must have significant business knowledge and have one or more areas of technical expertise in which they concentrate.
Interfaces across several business areas, acting as visionary to proactively assist in defining the direction for future projects.
Responsible for conception of solutions, building consensus and the selling and execution of such solutions.
Stay abreast of new technology as it pertains to enterprise infrastructure and recommends and/or plans for system changes, upgrades, and improvements.
Develop and implement system performance metrics in order to monitor system components. Design, engineer, and recommend changes to system architecture to accommodate technology upgrades and resolutions to performance problems/issues.
Develop briefings, presentations, and information papers as required. Manage vendor and contractor relationships. Participate in vendor selections, contract negotiations, and technical evaluations. Develop disaster recovery operation plans and participates in the execution.
1) Certified in network and security best-practices and with leading industry practitioners, such as CISSP
2) Knowledge in Governance, Compliance and Risk (GRC) space
3) Hands-on skills with network and security solutions
4) Technology Related Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP)
5) Experience in developing roadmaps for products and services
6) Experience in developing business cases, capturing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
7) Ability to interface effectively with vendors and service providers for product/service evaluation and service level agreements
7+ years of relevant experience in Information Security, Information Technology, IT Engineering & Operations, Software Development or related fields
