Position: Agile PM
Location: Melbourne, FL
Type: Contract
Develop and manage functional and non-functional requirements for one or more scrum teams
Apply best practices to develop and maintain scrum team backlogs against which teams will execute
Break scope down in to user stories which clearly articulate development requirements and acceptance criteria
Apply solid technical, business, leadership, and interpersonal skills, and contribute to positive outcomes for project stakeholders and scrum team
Participate / facilitate in scrum ceremonies and practices, including daily stand-ups, demos/retros, planning meetings, including use of Rally Tool.
10 + Years of experience in product owner role and leading multiple teams
Experience in transportation domain expected.
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a Technical field
Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development/IT
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Software Project Leadership
Minimum of 3 years working in Agile development environment
Minimum 1 year working in Scaled Agile Framework environment
Proficient with Agile/Scrum Tools
Proficient with Project Planning tools (Project/Clarity PPM)
Proven track record of successful software release delivery
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Understanding of estimation and budgeting processes
Desired Characteristics
Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certification (SA or SPC)
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Railroad industry experience
Experience in managing integration projects with sub-contractors
Experience working with and managing international teams
Experience working with schedules within an Earned Value System
