Agile Coach with CI/CD
Bentonville, Arkansas
Duration: 8+ months
Required:
As a Coach, you will work exclusively with a single Product Team in an Immersive DevOps Dojo model. This model uses short iterations to allow the team to rapidly gain experience and accelerate learning through more frequent cycles of their development process. Teams in the Dojo will complete 12 iterations (2.5 days each) during the 6-week model. The goals of the Dojo are to help teams improve their ability to deliver high-quality software by:
- Optimizing the flow of work;
- Managing, monitoring and measuring the Continuous Deliver pipeline;
and Improving the reliability of software delivery.
FUNCTIONS:
- Primary responsibility is to work daily with the assigned team to
help them achieve their goals.
- Facilitate the construction of the teams initial Value Steam Map.
- Teach continuous learning techniques to help shift the teams mindset
for the future.
- Help teams learn Continuous Integration, Automated Testing, and
Continuous Delivery.
- Mentor and coach at both the team and individual level.
- Produce Improvement Reporting as required by the client.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
- Current experience as an Agile Coach
- Prior experience as an Agile Coach, DevOps Coach, Scrum Master or
Product Owner
- 1+ years work experience leading teams in CI/CD Pipeline
- 4+ years work experience in Agile development practices
- 6+ years of Application Development work experience
- Minimally one agile certification (CSM, CSP, CSPO, ACC, ACP, etc
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven team leader with strong interpersonal skills
PREFERRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE (possess at least one in addition to the
above):
- Previous experience in using an Agile Lifecycle Management tool
(Jira)
- Previous experience with CI/CD tools for Source Control, Build
Management, Orchestration, etc.
- Experience creating value streams
- Lean, Kanban and Scrum acumen and experience
- Worked with Agile product development
