Work locations are Downtown NYC, Bethlehem, PA and Holmdel, NJ.

Agile Coach

The responsibilities of the SPCs include the following:

Communicate the business need, urgency, and vision for change
Lead Training and Coaching
Socialize the new agile concepts and provide orientation and overview training
Teach SAFe principles to Client leaders, managers, and stakeholders
Coach leaders and stakeholders to build and maintain the Vision, Roadmap, and Program Backlogs
Provide additional training on specialty roles such as Product Owner, Product Manager, Scrum Master, and Release Train Engineer (RTE)
Assist in the establishment of a Lean-Agile Center of Excellence (LACE)
Identify Value Streams and Agile Release Trains (ARTs)
Work with stakeholders to identify the flow of value and,
Identify value streams and ARTs to find those that are the most opportunistic for launch
Create the implementation plan
Participate in creating a plan for the rollout
Communicate upcoming changes, and establish metrics
Prepare for the ART launch
The SPCs will work with the LACE to assess, plan and prepare for the ART launch
Conduct ART execution
Participate in Scrum of Scrums and System Demos
Facilitate Inspect and Adapt (I&A) and follow-up on improvement items.
Assist in the establishment of a DevOps culture and mindset, the Continuous Delivery Pipeline, infrastructure, and associated Agile technical practices
Assist in launching additional ARTs and Value Streams
Facilitate the creation of new change agents to increase Client’s capacity to support new value streams, start more ARTs, and expand the reach of LACE.
Extend the portfolio practices
Help drive new portfolio practices to other areas of the Client, including:
a. Lean Budgets
b. Lean Portfolio Management
c. Lean approaches to CapEx and OpEx
d. Agile Contracts
Oversee Continuous Improvement
Foster a Lean-Agile approach to human resources
Facilitate establishment of Communities of Practice (CoPs)
