Role: Active Directory Consultant
Location: Chicago , IL
Duration: Long Term
Experience (Years): 6-8
Responsibilities:
Manage Active Directory Infrastructure for the Enterprise.
Participate in creating and deploying new solutions, or to improve existing
ones. Ensures uniformity of services, adherence to standards, and
consistency a Design, implementation and support of a multi-domain directory
infrastructure platform.
Analyze and evaluate major system project requirements of considerable
complexity requiring a thorough understanding of all parameters affecting
Review customer requirements and provides direction in the identification of
problem and potential resolution.
Communicate effectively with customers, peers and supervisors and be the
point of the contact for the services being delivered.
Work independently and having strong troubleshooting skillset in AD/DNS/WINS
and OS Build.
Skills:
Extensive experience in MS Active Directory and merge and demerge of domains
or restructure of Active Directory
Familiar with Microsoft Windows Server Operating system and VMWare
Virtualization technologies in the environment.
Strong PowerShell scripting related to managing server and AD objects and
attributes in the infrastructure.
Expert technical knowledge on Domain, Partition, Replication, DC, FSMO,
LDAP, KCC, Group Policies and DNS.
Strong skills on networking concepts and Windows Operating System
