Accessibility Tester
Location: Chicago, IL
Duration: Long term contract
3+ years of experience Leading accessibility testing and validation efforts and working closely with multiple Development and Product Management teams
Experience with working in multiple projects, effort estimation and capacity planning
Lead the QA Teams to formulate, communicate and ensure adoption of Accessibility best practices
Experience in testing Mobile apps for accessibility is a plus
Experience in creating test strategy and test plans Knowledge of correct use and limitations of WAI-ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) in web application development
Understanding of compatibility with various platforms and limitations of use
Expert at time management and able to work with minimal supervision
Experience providing accessibility strategy consulting to teams and understanding of the different roles and responsibilities across the disciplines of software development
Passion for improving web applications for disabled users
Proficient using screen readers like JAWS/NVDA Product testing to be performed on Web + mobile
