Requirements:
This role should have 6+ years of experience in delivering large, complex enterprise information systems involving Ab Initio, Unix and SQL server. The candidate must also have a solid working knowledge of capabilities and direction of technology, coupled with an in-depth knowledge of the technology required and the needs of business environment necessary to support assigned projects.
Must Have
6+ years of ETL experience.
Expertise in Ab Initio, Unix
Expertise in SQL Server and DB concepts.
Working experience on architecture blueprinting, designing solutions
RDMBS (or equivalent) - Teradata/SQL Server
Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) as direct interaction with customer is involved.
Other ideal qualifications include experiences in:
Metadata management
Ability to deisgn complex solutions using Ab Initio.
Knowledge of Relational and dimensional modeling.
Demonstrates sound analytical and diagnostic skills dealing with issues that are not readily defined and/or conflict with available information
Understands where to obtain information needed to make the appropriate decisions
Demonstrates ability to break down a problem to manageable pieces and implement effective, timely solutions
Identifies the problem versus the symptom
Manages problems that require involvement of others to solve
More than 1 ETL tool such as Informatica, Datastage.
More than 1 db such as Terradata.
Develops solutions to meet business needs that reflect a clear understanding of the objectives, practices and procedures of the corporation, department and business unit
