Job Description / Required Skills:
* 5+ years of hands-on design, development and support experience with the Ab Initio product suite using GDE, Co > Operating System and EME. Graph Development experience with various Ab Initio components such as Rollup, Scan, join, Partition by key, Partition by Round Robin, Gather, Merge, Interleave, Lookup, etc.
* 5+ years of strong technical experience in Design (Mapping specifications, HLD, LLD), Development (Coding, Unit testing) using Ab Initio.
* 5+ years of experience with SQL database programming, SQL performance tuning, relational model analysis.
* 5+ years hands-on experience working in Unix/Linux environment, with proficiency in Unix shell scripting (Korn, Bourne, Awk, Sed, etc
* Must have the ability to relate to both business and technical members of the team and possess excellent communication skills
* Demonstrate experience in Autosys scheduling tool.
* Proficiency in writing Oracle - SQL queries & PL/SQL Procedures.
* Proven ability to work closely with others, to work through design challenges, and to solve problems.
* Proven ability to work both independently and in groups as a self-motivated and highly engaged contributor.
* Support Production failures / escalations from L1/L2 on a regular basis.
* Responsible for preparing Run Books and release notes during the construction phase of the release work.
* Co-ordinate with System Test team during testing phases.
* Support Migration activities and co-ordinate with DBA, L2 Support and Release Management team during the deployment phase of the project.
* Experience in Mortgage/Banking Industry is a plus.
* In addition to Ab Initio Primary Development Skills, good to have Informatica Power Center experience to build ETL solutions for processing fact and dimensional tables with complex SCD type 1 and type 2 changes.
* Work with Architecture and various Infrastructure support teams to set up Application in Disaster Recovery for Business continuity
