Title: Ab Initio Developer

Job Responsibility:
Participate in end to end design and development which includes high level design, extractor development and deployment.
Work with Technical Architect or project manager to ensure that solutions are consistent with IT Roadmap.
Participate in technical life cycle processes, which include impact analysis, design review, code review, work allocation and tracking for team members.
Contribute towards building a highly effective team.
Hands on development of Metadata Management using Ab Initio Metadata Hub
Work independently on assigned tasks and deliver high quality results on time
Ensuring compliance with development methodology and technical process
Required skills:
Must have 7+ years of experience in designing & developing Metadata Solutions
7 + years of experience in developing on Ab Initio Metadata Hub (3.x),EME, Ab Initio GDE
Experience in developing extractors for Azure, CloudEra, Informatica BDM
Facilitate information gathering sessions and work with Ab Initio Support for issues
Identify data sources, develop and maintain metadata architectures, constructs metadata catalog
Familiarity and working knowledge of SQL Server Database, Tableau, Azure, Oracle
Experience in Azure, Cloudera, ADSL, Azure SQL will be a plus.
Should possess knowledge in Data modeling, design and architectures of Data warehouse concepts. Should have good
understanding of logical, physical data models and metadata concepts. Should have good exposure to data modeling concepts-star schema / dimensional.
Ability to independently design and develop and test programs
Participate in impact-analysis and root cause analysis.
Experience with Financial domain
Strong sense of accountability, adaptability, flexibility and a sense of urgency.
Ability to work effectively with associates at all levels within the organization.
Demonstrated ability to establish priorities, organize and plan work to satisfy established timeframes.
Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Familiar with the Agile Methodology
Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
Passionate about continuously improving organizational practices. Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly and self-directed.
