Title: AZURE CLOUD ENGINEER
Location: Irving , TX
Duration: 6 months Contract to Hire
MUST INTERVIEW IN-PERSON AND WORK ON-SITE MONDAY THRU FRIDAY
We are looking for Azure Cloud Engineer to deliver IT excellence and create innovative solutions in the Cloud. Work with fellow AWS and Azure team members to form the best minds in cloud solutions and give innovative solutions to our clients. Your future duties and responsibilities
Requirements:
Extensive experience with designing and building solutions for applications using services such as Azure infrastructure (compute, network, storage), database (SQL and PostgreSQL), redis, etc.
Proven experience with cloud migrations to Azure and integration of Microsoft cloud services from on premise technologies
Strong knowledge with Azure Container Service, Container Instances, etc.
Knowledge of IP networking, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, Load Balancers, and virtual networking
Strong scripting skills, i.e., Powershell, Python, Bash, Ruby, Perl, etc.
Experience with seamless/automated build scripts used for release management across environments
Proven experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methodologies
Strong track record of implementing Azure services in a variety of environments
Experience with IT compliance and risk management requirements (eg. Security, privacy, SOX, HIPAA, etc
BS level technical degree preferred; Computer Science or Math background preferred; MS degree is a plus
Business level command of the English language, reading, writing, and speaking
Familiarity with DevOps concepts and toolchains
Experience with Chef, Puppet, Salt, or Ansible in production environments with many nodes
Familiarity with any monitoring tools like Nagios, Vistara, SiteScope, etc.
Familiarity with continuous integration servers like Jenkins, Bamboo, and TeamCity
Understanding and experience with code deployment
Understanding and experience with automated testing tools
Excellent Communication is a MUST
