Role: AWS Solution Architect
Location: Deerfield IL.
Duration: 12 Months
Required Skills:
Have experience in solutioning Java Spring Boot framework projects.
AWS knowledge is an advantage.
Must have skills:
Define and manage the Architecture Blueprint, including technical capabilities, technologies, processes and standards for digital transformation projects
Develop and maintain the technology roadmap to support the delivery of the data asset roadmap produced by Data Strategy
Development of best practices, guidelines and standards for data and application architecture
Define IoT architecture and ongoing data analytics architecture roadmap
Work hand-in-hand with the project teams to define and ensure the architecture is aligned with and capable of supporting business strategy
Architect solutions using AWS services, J2EE , Spring Framework, JSP , JQuery/Angular JS
Development of standards and techniques for the management of Information Lifecycle
Evaluate and recommend software technologies in these areas, evaluate alternatives and analyze problems
Produce documents relating to application architecture, design steps, integration processes and testing procedures relating to each product developed
Analyze specifications and create high level architecture and prototype/POC
Analyze defects and perform root cause analysis
Provide solutions in the areas of disaster recovery, data integrity and security
Must be prepared to offer viable solutions for various systems and architectures to different types of businesses
Ensuring a seamless integration of new and existing systems to eliminate potential problems and maintain data structure and integrity
Hands on expertise in Mobile App,AWS deployments
AWS/IT operations support needs
Ability to create technical documentation ( designs/requirements etc)
Must be able to guide IoT data platform design and build out
Key Competencies
Demonstrated proficiency in designing end to end data architectures
Must have AWS Solution architecture experience
Must have delivered end-to-end solutions for mobile apps/enterprise products
Must be expert in J2EE, Spring Framework, JSP, Jquery, Angular JS
Must have cloud hosting, monitoring, performance tuning, and optimization experience
Strong understanding of network design and cloud optimization
Must have DynamoDB,S3 ,MongoDB and Redis experience
The ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment. The right candidate is someone who is willing to take on projects and challenges with the ability to be flexible with change
Required Experience
5+ years of software and systems architectural experience with a B.S degree or 2+ years of software and systems architectural experience with a PhD or M.S. degree
Strong recent hands-on design and development experience with platform independent API development with consideration for scalability, security, flexibility and ease of use preferred
Experience building web services using JSON, REST and other similar web service technologies preferred
Understanding and working knowledge of IoT technologies such as RabbitMQ, MQTT, STOMP, or CoAP, and Cloud service bus required
Experience with Semantic Web technologies and Resource Description Framework (RDF) preferred
Good working experience of software development life cycle and Agile development methodology required
Predictive modeling and machine learning preferred
