Job Description :
1. Puppet automation modules to deploy, update, provision, manage and maintain services and systems in AWS including commercial, FOSS-based and internally developed products and services
Automation scripts for monitoring and support of complex, high-availability applications. Scripts shall use industry-standard tools of Linux and AWS, in addition to Puppet.
System architecture with automation for security, scalability, reliability, and performance.
Strategies for versioning of scripts, code, and automation.
Liaison, including documentation and other communications, with vendors and development groups to highlight security, architecture and operational perspectives to the SDLC, and provide deliverables on schedule.
2. The support of internal customers, external customers, corporate IT, and vendor IT at superior levels of consultation and follow-up. This includes supporting upgrades and resolution of production problems in a timely manner for operational systems.
3. Communication and collaboration with developers, vendors, and professional organizations to plan Linux automation approaches for implementing new systems and services.
4. Occasional after hours and weekend support as emergencies, deployments or on-call support requires
5. Provide subject matter expertise and cross-team coordination for these efforts
6. Provide developed and refined of backlog items for the Scrum team working on a wide array of automation, infrastructure, and product deployment projects.
7. Skills : Puppet, Linux, AWS, Automation using Shell, Bash etc
