As an AWS engineer at The Client, you will:
Write code.
Improve our continuous delivery pipeline
Work closely with the development team to get new features in front of our customers
Improve our technology stack by evaluating new software and solutions
Build automated testing suites to validate environment configurations and software deployments
Teach other developers about Continuous Integration/Delivery
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field of study
5 years of directly related experience
Experience with the following:
o Continuous Integration/Delivery
o Docker
o Amazon AWS: EC2, Cloud Formation, RDS, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline, VPCs, S3, Route 53, IAM
o Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, Jenkins, Stash (Git)
o Powershell, Python, Bash
o Windows, Linux
Preferred experience with the following:
o .Net, C#, ASP.Net MVC, ServiceStack, Javascript, SqlServer, EntityFramework
Experience with agile development methodologies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
Strong emotional intelligence: self-awareness, confidence, ability to manage conflict, and empathy
A pragmatic approach to software development, and problem solving in general
Humble but motivated individuals
