Responsible for the overall system design. Documents development requirements for database, applications, and operation system environment. Consults with end users to test and debug applications to meet client needs. Serves as expertise in all aspects of designing and application development. May conduct training to IT Staff. Requires a bachelor''s degree and may be expected to have an advanced degree in area of specialty and 6+ years of experience in the field or in a related area. Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field''s concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top level contributor/specialist. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

He / She will be responsible for general AWS DevOps within BI COE team. Manage BI tools clustered Server infrastructure in AWS environment. He / she will play key role in various integration projects, automation, provide API solutions, design, develop and implement creative infrastructure solutions. Monitor & Manage Tableau, Airflow, Thought Spot & other BI infrastructure, analyze and recommend infrastructure sizing including hardware and software requirements. Analyze & troubleshoot issues.

Must Have:
3 – 4 years of AWS DevOps Experience.
Strong knowledge and experience with Windows Servers, network technologies with Active Directory, SSO, OAuth, SAML for authentication.
Resource monitoring and repository Audit reporting, Backup and restore.
Windows &/ Linux Server Infrastructure Experience.
Strong expertise in AWS Best Practices.
Experience in integration of Linux applications with monitoring tools like Prometheus, ELK, Splunk, Pager Duty, PinPoint etc
Work within a team of like-minded professionals to plan, build, deploy, and maintain critical business applications in a cloud environment.
Design and implement appropriate environments for applications, engineer suitable release management procedures and provide production support.
Influence other teams and broader Engineering groups in adopting Cloud technologies, processes, and best practices.
Automate the provisioning of environments: cooking up some recipes with Chef or Ansible, and deploying environments using containers, like Docker.
Design and develop automation workflows, perform unit tests and conduct review to make sure your work is rigorously designed, elegantly coded, and effectively tuned for platform performance, and assess the overall quality of delivered components.
Frequent tools/technologies used in this role would be: AWS, Chef, Linux Shell Scripting, Jenkins, Docker & Github.
Participate in the Agile DevOps design, development, testing, and release of new capabilities and features with focus on frequent production releases
Drive improvements to processes and design enhancements to automation to continuously improve the production environment.
Experience with multiple cloud implementations ( AWS, Azure, Google ) is a plus
