Essential Functions:
3+ years hands-on DevOps; designing/writing/delivering system automation
Understands fundamentals of large scale on-premise and cloud mission critical systems; networking, security, redundancy, scalability, monitoring, & performance KPI’s.
Fast, adaptable, with a proven ability to integrate and exploit new technologies, PAAS offerings, and API’s
Demonstrated ability to move on-premise complex systems to the cloud
Core Requirements:
Working experience of AWS architecture and operations, including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Cloud Formation.
Good knowledge of APIGateways, Kinesis, Lambda, ECS and Elastic beanstalk
Knowledge and experience configuring Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs) and Security groups (SG
Experience working in AWS via the CLI and management console.
Configuring auto-scaling and load balancing in AWS.
Utilize the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) features for provisioning, monitoring, scaling, and distribution of compute infrastructure.
Use Amazon Cloud Watch to establish metrics and monitor the health/utilization of the AWS resource.
Utilize AWS Cloud Formation to automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment to reduce time to production.
