Job Responsibilities:
The AWS Database Architect will be responsible for:



Lead the database migration effort Oracle to Redshift
Experience in using SCT and DMS tool for migration of data from Oracle to Redshift.
Extensive experience in managing and Administration of Cloud Database (Redshift)
Experience in the AWS platform, and understanding of various AWS services
Skilled in performance tuning of RedShift platform and understanding of how various configurations, including types of servers that could impact performance.

Lead the Lead the database migration effort Oracle to Redshift.



Participate in all project phases include solution design, application development, testing and deployment.



LCAT Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or above in Programming/Systems or Computer Science, specialized training, certification, or equivalent work experience
Knowledge of current and emerging IT products, services and processes is required
Experience in systems design and have a solid understanding of development, database development, testing, and integration methodologies
At least 5 years on the AWS platform with RedShift and Aurora database
Ability to work well under deadlines and in a flexible environment where the position may be working on multiple concurrent tasks.
Ability to reliably estimate the time, effort and resources required to complete a task.
In-depth understanding of the business/technology environment
