We are looking for AWS Cloud Security Architect
DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT TASKS / DUTIES:
As a Cloud/Security Architect for the Architecture and Operations contract Support (AOCS) you will be part of a motivated team of experienced architects, project/program managers, lead developers and system engineers responsible for the planning, design, implementation, and maintenance of a new modernization initiative . The team is helping to build modernized and integrated acquisition solution.
As a Cloud/Security Architect with AOCS program, you will be reporting to Enterprise Architecture PM and responsible for providing Solutions to complex cloud/security requirements and challenges associated with modernizing and migrating legacy applications onto cloud. This requires extensive cloud security experience in government domain and prior experience is a must.
Duties: (Add Percentage of time spent on each duty)
Job Duty 1 with 40% of time- Provide solutions to network, cloud and application security requirements.
Job Duty 2 with 20% of time- Analyze customer requirements, Identify functions required to fulfill solution requirements
Job Duty 3 with 20% of time- Provide technical direction to the cloud infrastructure and development teams on how to implement cloud patterns and security controls.
Job Duty 5 with 20% of time - Documentation/deliverables to the customer.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
1. 10+ or more years of professional IT experience in designing and developing large scale enterprise applications utilizing multiple technologies.
2. 7+ years (or 3 projects) of Architecture experience. Deep understanding of Network, Infrastructure and application security.
3. 5+ years of designing and implementing IAM/IDM solutions utilizing COTS products. At least one project experience where end to end solution implemented utilizing ForgeRock suite of products.
4. Expert knowledge and 3+ years of experience with public/hybrid clouds & cloud technologies utilizing Amazon Web Services (AWS),
5. 3+ years of implementing security solutions in federal government space. Expert in implementing and enforcing Government security controls and good understanding of FISMA, NIST 800-53 controls and CIS Benchmarks.
6. Good understanding of Vulnerability &compliance management and experience supporting Government ATO process for at least one application.
7. Deep technical experience in two or more of the following areas:
- Cloud/Virtualization
- IT Security
- Systems Operations / Management
- Security Architecture
8. Excellent communication, customer engagement and problem solving skills.
9. Excellent Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences
10. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field.
11. Knowledge/Experience working with the General Services Administration (GSA
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS
1. CISSP Certification.
2. Certified AWS Solution Architect.
3. Application Modernization experience utilizing micro services architecture and designing & implementing security for web services/API.
