Enquizit is seeking Cloud Architects with the ability to design and analyze cloud infrastructure patterns to work in a blended Linux and Windows environment. Anticipated projects combine development and operations teams (DevOps) to deliver software artifacts via a continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI / CD Candidates should be able to develop secure solutions in compliance with customer standards and Government regulations, and be able to defend the viability of those solutions when presenting to customers. Experience providing technical direction on large transformation/cloud migration projects using Amazon Web Services (AWS) and AWS products is essential.

Core responsibilities for this position
o Setting up AWS basic services. VPCs, VPNs, static routing etc
o Securing workloads through defense in depth
o Writing or modifying Cloudformation templates
o Performance and Availability Monitoring
o Bash scripting
Powershell basics would be a plus
Python a big plus
o Scheduling cron jobs
o Setting up, troubleshooting and optimizing Linux (Primarily Redhat and Ubuntu) systems
Running Apache, nginx, Tomcat, MySQL and popular COTS software
o Planning resilience and failover
o Upgrade and migrate instances from on-premises to cloud systems
Automating build whenever possible
o Set up SSL/TLS
o Setting up firewalls and Network ACLs at a host as well as a subnet level
o Setting up Configuration management systems
o Debug and trace applications in Dev as well as Production environments
o Setting up CI/CD Pipelines, preferably with Jenkins
o Familiarity with Docker a plus
o Familiarity with Terraform and Packer a plus
o Familiarity with AWS Lambda or another Server less architecture a plus
o Documenting configurations and enhancements
Required Skills and Experience
o AWS industry certifications – Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer and or SysOps Administrator
o Solid understanding of IP Networking Protocols – IPv4, TCP/UDP, DNS, DHCP,HTTP, SSL/TLS etc
o 5+ years of experience in Linux system administration in complex data center environment
o Coding experience with one of Java / Python / Ruby / .Net
o Proficiency in at least two major scripting languages (Shell, Python, PHP, Perl, Ruby)
o Strong experience with Apache and Ngnix
o Experience with HTTP RESTful APIs, JSON and XML
o Comfortable with source and version control systems like SVN and Git
o Experience building and modifying continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) environments using tools such as Jenkins or Bamboo
o Proficiency in one major Database Fail over clustering and Replication
o Infrastructure as code experience with tooling such as BOTO, CHEF, Salt, Puppet, Ansible
o Experience with data security requirements aligned with any of FISMA, NIST and FedRAMP Compliance sets
o Technical knowledge of storage protocols including CIFS, NFS or iSCSI.
o Strong technical understanding of storage platforms to design and implement disaster recovery solutions, data recovery solutions, data protection and backup solutions
o Passion and experience collaborating with development teams and minimizing pain points
o Excellent written and oral communication skills.
o BS or MS in Computer / Information Systems or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
