Description Responsibilities:
Assessing applications for cloud migration readiness
Making recommendations for cloud migration
AWS Solution architecture & infrastructure design
Implementing AWS solutions through AWS console and other tools
Automation of AWS infrastructure provisioning
Provide comprehensive status reports in collaboration with program management
Leading the technical team (onsite+offshore) in executing cloud migration projects. Including technical leads, engineers, testers
Required Skills:
AWS Certified
5+ years’ experience in architecture design/implementation of large scale commercial applications
Experience migrating large enterprise applications to AWS
Exposure to multiple technology domains net, Java OSS)
3+ years experience implementing solutions on AWS
In-depth, hands-on AWS experience including
o EC2, ELB, VPC
o RDS, S3
o Route 53
o Cloud Formation/other automation tools (i.e. Terraform)
Excellent understanding of DevOps tool chains as it applies to AWS
WAN Networking experience, DNS and AWS connectivity options (i.e. Direct Connect)
Presentation skills; high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences.
Strong written communication skills; this role will require the creation of content such as design documents, recommendations and other written deliverables.
High level of comfort communicating effectively across internal and external organizations and interacting with senior client stakeholders
Demonstrable understanding of cloud security principle, implementation and tooling
AWS certification – SA Associate level

Database administration experience (Oracle/MSSQL/PostGre/MySQL)
