Responsibilities:
Automate infrastructure via infrastructure-as-code and configuration management.
Support software development processes via continuous integration and delivery.
Evolve system security, reliability, scalability, performance, and quality.
Develop and Manage System Backups, Imaging, and Recovery Processes
Keep Base Images Patched & Base Software Updated
Configure Monitoring & Logging as Needed
Maintain System Security & Assist with Authorizations
Assist in Building and Maintaining Test Systems and Automated Test Scripts
Support Cloud Platform Team Operations
Support Cloud Migration Team Operations
Build, secure and maintain the infrastructure required for the software, including all the networking to integrate into corporate IT if required.
Provide DevOps architectural documentation and technical leadership to the IT team
Evaluate and recommend DevOps tools, technologies, and processes
Interpret business opportunities and recommend effective architectures for infrastructure and continuous deployment.
Collaborate across the organization to produce infrastructure, and continuous deployment pipelines supporting robust enterprise software solutions
Troubleshoot DevOps problems quickly and efficiently
Contribute to highly functional prototypes and proofs of concept projects
Research and formulate best practices within the field
Skills:
Must have:
AWS Core Services such as VPC,
EC2
CloudFormation
Route 53
IAM
S3
CloudFront
Service Catalog
Lambda
ECS
DynamoDB,
Python or NodeJS, any configuration management tool.
Nice to have: Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, Puppet, Docker, Kubernetes.
