Job Description :
10+ years of experience in developing, architecting, deploying highly scalable distributed
computer systems with 4+ years’ experience focused on Cloud and Microservices
architecture.
Extensive experience architecting, designing and programming applications in an AWS Cloud
environment
Experience with designing and building application using AWS services such as EC2, AWS
Elastic Beanstalk, AWS OpsWorks
Subject matter expert in the design, integration, and delivery of cloud-based solutions for
web-based enterprise applications
Experience leading the design, development and deployment of business software at scale
or current hands on technology infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and virtualization
experience
Strong knowledge of application hosting and/or Data Center Consolidation
Subject matter expert in commercial cloud offerings using Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure,
and/or IBM Soft Layer
Experience deploying enterprise scale applications to production using cloud-based
infrastructure
Knowledge and experience with DoD cloud security concepts
Strong systems engineering, organizational, and customer facing skills
Able to translate complex Government-customer requirements into sound technical
solutions and subsequently document those solutions in equivalent detail
Perform system design analysis that may include development cost projections, architecture
analysis and design, product recommendation and evaluation, Agile Sprint planning, and
other architectural needs that arise.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Understands concepts of a tiered architecture and interface design
Experience designing horizontally scalable services and capabilities
Hands on experience with Department of Defense (DoD) Identify Access Management
(IdAM), Storage, Virtualization, Directory Services, DoD PKI, HBSS, ACAS
Experience with FedRamp processes, policies, and requirements
Strong networking skills
