AVP Software Engineer.
The AVP, Software Engineering for Finance and Insurance (F&I) will offer a deep understanding of business and technology combined with the leadership experience needed to build a high performing software development organization. This role is responsible for the overall direction, maturity, strength, profile, output, and excellence of the technology team within F&I, as well as the tone and quality of the interactions and collaborations with other disciplines within and outside the F&I solution. In addition, the AVP will help the company achieve its growth targets through delivery of leading edge products which are innovative, timely, well-planned, cost effective and based on sound software development practices.

The AVP will prioritize building a strong Engineering culture based upon putting people first, team autonomy, learning and failing forward, full transparency, and ultimately building trust and great relationships throughout the F&I organization.
Following is the Candidate w: high level requirements:
· 10-15 years of experience in software development.
· Min 3 years’ experience leading development teams
· Excellent communication skills
· Role is to lead team(s), but the person needs to be hands on. Will actively participate in architecture design and coding of critical components (not day to day
· Should have exposure to devops and agile software development.
Candidate Technical skills requirement:
· Sql Server 2012+ – Required Medium level
· Azue – preferred
· CosmosDB – preferred
· Azure functions
· Angular JS – Required, expert level (exposure to other JS frameworks is a plus)
· Angular 5 – Required – medium level
· Microservices – Required
· Entity Framework - Required
· Language: C#
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering or science/technology based discipline. MBA or relevant Master''s Degree preferred
10+ years of experience, at least 5 years in large-scale technology management (80+ people)
Proven ability to develop technology solutions for a wide range of clients in the digital space that deliver results
Working ability to set project schedules and deliverables, manage budgets and contracts
Comprehensive and expert knowledge of the interactive software development process, and experience with the Scaled Agile Framework a plus
Proven expertise at motivating and managing technology leads in planning, developing and communicating industry-leading solutions
Must be able to inspire and maintain a positive atmosphere of innovation and success across a diverse team of engineers; ensuring that your team embodies the shared values of the company
Must possess an ability to build key business relationships, and contribute to the emerging technology culture within F&I
