Job Description:
Duties & Responsibilities
· Design and implement complex multi-tiered software systems in Java-based environments
· Interact with large databases and big data
· Build unit tests and integration tests based on functional and non-functional requirements
· Develop and present system and design documentation
· Work across functions to support the change management, deployment, configuration and release of software components
Education & Experience
· 6+ years of Java server side application development
· Demonstrable hands-on experience of J2EE and Spring technologies
· Proficiency in ATG eCommerce Framework and Endeca Search Engine is a must. Proficiency and implementation skills on ATG based application is required with large scale implementation a plus.
· Proficiency in JAVA, JEE, builds tools such as ant, maven, SCM tools, Enterprise class Web Application Development using Java / JEE frameworks is a must.
· Experience and hands-on on one of the following products: Oracle ATG Commerce, ATG Catalog, ATG Repositories, ATG Shopping Cart with extensive customization experience.
· Commerce Service Center (CSC), Endeca Experience Manager or Page Builder Development experience on an Oracle ATG platform is required although experience in developing in any major, Java platform is also highly desirable.
· Experience developing applications, templates, and components for Adobe CQ product, Web Content Management system development experience.
· Strong knowledge of relational schemas and database modeling and PL/SQL
· Experience developing both SOAP and REST web services
· Strong understanding of web development architecture and concepts
· Working knowledge of GIT, ANT, Maven and Linux/UNIX environment including common system utilities and scripting
· Good working knowledge of Apache, Tomcat, Jetty and other web application platforms
· Knowledge of Python, Perl or other scripting language
· Knowledge of HTML/CSS, Javascript, XHTML, or other front-end technologies preferred
· Experience building development tools
· Experience with public traffic, consumer-facing system is a plus
· Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Math or Physics
