Roles and responsibility
Provides application software development services or technical support typically in a defined project
Ability to meet deadlines and balance multiple deadlines
Demonstrated ability to prioritize work load and meet project deadlines
Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment and make independent decisions.
Will be involved in Implementation and Conversion projects for the Horizon core banking product.
Experience in Data Conversions from multiple sources (Flat Files, CSV, ASCII, etc to AS400
Develops program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications.
Codes, tests, debugs, documents, implements and maintains software applications.
Desirable Technical / Functional Skills
1. Strong knowledge and working experience of AS400 and RPG
2. Strong knowledge of end to end software development skills
3. Production support experaince
4. Should have experience in source control systems like Clearcase/Git/TFS and knowledge of Sitecore (Web Content Management system)
5. Strong analytical skill
6. Working experience in Onsite/Offshore model
7. ITIL concepts, clear understanding of Change Management, Problem Management processes
8. Excellent communication skills
9. Proficiency in SQL (write/understand complex SQL queries and stored procedures)
