Key Areas of Responsibility:

Application Services.

Overall installation of hotel Opera Property Management Systems (PMS)

Updating hotel Opera PMS approved versions

Provide support of Opera PMS – Including troubleshooting and resolving Opera PMS issues

Installation/Configuration of Opera PMS interfaces for third party vendors

Troubleshooting Opera PMS network related issues

Installation of Opera PMS backup solutions

Perform health checks on Opera PMS systems

Documentation and Reports

Provide detailed reports as required for installation services

Create documentation on new installation processes

Provide suggestions or make modifications to existing documentation to improve quality installations

Customer Service

Provide high quality customer while performing installation services and support of customers’ systems

Empathetic to customer needs



Interaction:  This position has daily interactions with senior management, hotels & third party vendors (clients), team
members and various critical departments within the organization. In many cases, interactions with both internal and
external parties will be at mid and upper management levels.

Requirements / Qualifications:

University Degree and a minimum of 2 year’s work experience as an Opera PMS technical service installer.

Strong analytical, organizational, communication and people skills required.

Working knowledge of hotel networks and IT systems is preferred.

Proficiency in SQL/SQLPLUS, Microsoft Office.

Ability to roll up sleeves for direct client support.

Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies, products and procedures
Ability to work and thrive in a multi-tasked and fast-paced environment.

Ability to quickly learn the company’s various IT solutions; and able to handle system installation.

Professional “get it done” attitude and work ethic.

Fluent in English. Fluency in other languages helpful.

Experience with hotel property management systems; Opera preferred

Willing to work overtime, weekend and holidays as requested.

Willing to work with a wide variety of cultures.

Willing to be contactable on an on-call basis after-hours by mobile phone.

Willing to travel locally and overseas for projects sites in difference location.
