Job Description
As an IT Software Developer in the Supply Chain Solution team, you will be part of a project team using Agile & Scrum methodology, working in a fast-paced, iterative environment, closely partnered with business stakeholders. You will be responsible for developing software applications based on the SAP APO solution and contribute to all software development related activities.

Responsibilities and Tasks:
These include, but are not limited to, the following:
Manage all development aspects of SAP ABAP development for Micron’s Supply Chain Planning modules that include but not limited to DP, SNP, OF, CIF, PP, MM, and SD
Act a creditable subject matter expert, providing sound technical development expertise.
Maintain, document, and provide technical support for new and existing SAP APO ABAP solutions including escalated troubleshooting, debugging and resolving defects.
Work collaboratively with cross functional project teams including but not limited to Supply Chain Supply team, Supply Chain Demand team, Sales Solution team, Finance Solution team, Manufacturing Solution teams, SAP Basis/Security team, and other project team members to drive strategic IT projects to completion.
Participate in project evaluation, including planning, installation, testing, knowledge transfer to support team and technical support as needed.
Adhere to corporate quality, standard policies and procedures.
Follow corporate guidelines for analysis, design, user liaison interfacing, specification, development, quality assurance, and implementation practices.
Maintain documentation and coding standards per defined corporate standards, policies and procedures.
Responsible for all aspects of maintenance including system modifications, software upgrades, version control, etc.
Always tests changes/enhancements in a Development & QA environment before live implementation. Coordinate user liaison and business unit quality assurance methodologies and production implementation practices per corporate standards.
Complete assigned tasks in an accurate and timely manner.

Qualifications:
Minimum 8 years of progressive experience with SAP ABAP development required.
Experience in developing solutions in SAP APO (DP, SNP, gATP)
Working knowledge of data dictionary, screen painter, menu painter, ALE, ALV, BADIs, BAPIs, BDCs, IDOCs, RFC, SAPScript, user exits, OSS notes, configuration, and object-oriented programming, is required
Experience developing user exit enhancements and reports / custom tables and transactions
Competent in developing technical specs, test plans, test data, reports, interfaces, conversions, and enhancements
Experience with Integration between ERP Systems and other 3rd party packages
Experience in HANA modelling and programming in HANA (preferred)
Experience in multiple SAP modules including SD, MM, and PP (desired)
Capable of receiving complex business application requirements; determining the most appropriate method of achieving the necessary results; and developing, implementing and checking the resulting system changes or modifications.
Must have the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences both in person and in writing.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain strong organizational skills.
Candidate must be able to effectively communicate well with IT team members
Should be flexible to learn and use new technologies, able to work on multiple projects at one time in a fast-paced team environment.
Be able to troubleshoot and research problems independently as well as part of a solution team.
Experience in Agile/SCRUM framework (desired)

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or other closely related field required.
