Job Title: ALM Test Reporting Lead
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Duration: Permanent/Full Time

Job Description:

Provide the correct setup and align testers in order that the customized project in ALM adhere to EY testing standards, support EY Global Test Process (EYGTP), and provide data to capture the necessary data for KPI metric reporting
Perform ALM administration tasks for testing cycle like tests upload, test set structure and tests setup , RTM updates and RTM-test links
Prepare automatic macros for metrics and defect management using excel VBA, ALM OTA and SQL.
When necessary, coordinate with Global Test Managers that defects have all needed information in order to be closed.
Prepares testing audits macros, distribute reports and chase coordinators/ testers in order to have defects, failed scripts and scripts passed without test evidence corrected and in line with closure expectations.
When necessary, create ad hoc reports or views in ALM for Global Test Manager and coordinators with the information needed for feedback on the progress of testing.
Assists with Testing cycle closure metrics (exit criteria) metrics and ad hoc reports and RTM coverage.

Required Experience:

At least 6+ years of experience in creating reports out of ALM
Hands on experience in ALM Tool
Strong understanding of the software development life cycle methodologies (SDLC) - Waterfall, Agile, etc
Ability to customize reports from ALM
Ability to create custom reports using excel (macros) and OTA/API functions, based on the user requirements.
Must have excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
Must have good presentation skills
Must be motivated by delivery
Knowledge on metrics reporting
Excellent attention to detail
Good to have knowledge of ALM Integration with other systems like TFS etc. is a plus
Intermediate SQL skills
Good to have Share Point Admin skills
Good to know HP ALM customization and management of HP’s associated products
Experience of working within multi-location teams
The ability to work and team effectively with clients and other senior personnel across geographies
Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change
Ability to deal efficiently with escalations and difficult situations/people under pressure
Good management, interpersonal, communication, organizational and decision-making skills
Ability to build good relationships both within the QA & Test team and with other teams
