Job description
Our client, a large retail organization is seeking an experienced AEM Lead Solution Architect for their digital platform team. This team will be implementing Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) to transform our client’s website and other digital properties.

Transforming their digital experiences by implementing AEM on website and various digital properties. Part of the Ecommerce stack will leverage SAP Hybris to power the transactional side of the site.

The Lead Solution Architect acts as a senior level technical and functional expert, partnering with business and IT stakeholders at all levels to identify architectural solution options and map value streams. This position is responsible for using solution architecture practices and techniques to deliver measurable business outcomes in a large-scale, complex organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Engineering or related discipline or equivalent work experience and technical training is required.
Any SAFe certification (SSM, SASM, SA, SPC, SPMPO)
ITIL Foundations certification
Minimum 8+ years’ experience in business application design, development, implementation, and/or solution architecture.
Minimum 3 years of experience with AEM 6.x/ CQ5
5+ years of experience in object-oriented development languages such as Java
3-5 years of experience in web front end development
3-5 years of experience in ecommerce development
Must have implemented/architected Adobe Experience Manager in a large enterprise
Must have strong knowledge of DevOps practices when deploying AEM
Knowledge of project management techniques is required (cross-functional experience is highly desirable
Experience with structured design, development and implementation of new and established computing architectures.
Technical team leadership experience.
Experience in Scaled Agile framework is preferred
Experience with multiple, diverse technical configurations, technologies, and processing environments.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
Translates business needs into technical architecture requirements.
Communicates IT requirements and guidelines to vendor partners.
Estimates financial impact of technical architecture alternatives.
Applies multiple technical solutions to business problems.
Quickly comprehends the functions and capabilities of new technology.
Excellent written and oral communications skills.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
Evaluates architectural options and defines overall architecture of the AEM platform, ensuring compatibility with SAP Hybris.
Defines non-functional requirements including performance monitoring, alerting and code management ensuring alignment in AEM.
Determines major elements and subsystems and defines interfaces as well as architectural runway.
Mentors and coaches other members of the agile and\or Run team.
Provides subject matter expertise and technical consulting support on integrating or converting existing legacy applications into the Adobe platform.
Drives engagement with ITS Security and Infrastructure teams to ensure secure development and deployment of solutions.
Interfaces with the Product Owner and IT partners at the Program level to define and estimate features for agile teams.
Works within the SAFe Agile framework and employs ITIL best practices.
Assists in production support and maintenance of applications as needed.
