*The successful candidate will lead ETL and data migration activities for a new ERP implementation. *Responsibilities include end-to-end data migration activities such as: data analysis, mapping, writing extraction logic and ETL flows, and data quality & validation processes to ensure the successful migration of data from legacy systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead ETL and data migration activities for a new ERP implementation
Advise business on options, risks, and any impacts related to data conversion & migration
Design & create ETL processes as needed to meet business requirements and ensure successful data migration for project implementation. Perform Data Profiling, Assessment, and Data Cleansing as required to meet data migration goals. Continually seek ways to improve the process of data conversion, migration, and integration from the legacy environment to a new system
Share knowledge and create proper documentation (such as diagrams and presentations) related to the ETL & data migration efforts. Provide quality formal and informal documentation consistent with documentation standards. Close attention to detail to ensure integrity and quality of data migration
Report progress to business and project managers in a timely manner

REQUIRED SKILLS (8+ Years’ experience for required skills)
Required – Experience completing a previous data migration project for a new, large systems implementation
Required - Proficiency with common data and/or ETL tools including SQL Developer, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), Excel, and other equivalent ETL or data movement and extraction tools
Required - Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Oracle and PL/SQL scripting, databases, data structures, and data types/formats
Required - Experience defining and mapping data objects, models and data definitions for business systems and their various functional components required for Data Migration/Conversion/Integration

PREFERRED SKILLS (2+ Years’ Experience)
Preferred experience with commercial (COTS) system solutions and ERP systems
Preferred some experience with Master Data Management (MDM) concepts and practices
Preferred experience with a legacy ERP systems (such as Oracle, Peoplesoft, SAP, Lawson)
Preferred experience with Object Oriented Concepts, SOA, and Web Services (REST, SOAP)
Preferred experience with Data Warehousing, ETL, & common methodologies for loading and extraction of data
Preferred experience with reporting and BI tools such as SSRS, Oracle BI Publisher, Crystal, or other standardized reporting & BI tool

1. Experience with a prior data migration, conversion, or integration project for a new ERP system implementation-Required 5 Years
2. Proficiency with a major ETL/integration platform such as Oracle Data Integrator (highly preferred) Required 5 Years
3. Advanced knowledge of SQL scripting and working with relational database systems-Required 8 Years
4. Experience with defining data objects, ERDs, models, data definitions and data mapping activities between various formats and systems-Required 5 Years
5. Experience with legacy COTS/ERP systems such as Oracle, peoplesoft, SAP, Lawson, etc. Highly desired 3 Years
6. Familiarity with master data management concepts and practices. Highly desired 2 Years
7. Experience working with web services (REST or SOAP) for data integration and interfaces-Highly desired 2 Years
8. Familiarity with data warehouse concepts and models (star schema, dimensions, multi-dimensional) Highly desired 2 Years
9. Experience gathering requirements and producing technical specifications and documents-Highly desired 5 Years
10. Experience with reporting and BI tools such as Oracle BI Publisher, Crystal, OTBI, Oracle BI, or Smart View-Highly desired 2 Years
