Job Description :
Our direct client is looking for a Sr Oracle PL/SQL Developer for a Contract in Trenton, NJ.
Position Description:
- Oracle expert with extensive PL/SQL programming with prior Data Warehousing experience.
- Design and develop new database for the Field Safety and Services Unit (FSSU) application that will be providing data collection tools for field visits and pre-visit dashboard as a collection of data from previous field visits and related databases.
- Develop stored procedures and provide assistance to the application developers during application integration.
- An ideal candidate will have worked with recent versions of Oracle and written Stored Procedures in PL/SQL extensively.
- This individual should also have worked with erWIN.
RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 6 to 8 yrs.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTIONS:
- Accredited college training may substitute for the required work experience except for the Data Warehousing Management experience, with a maximum substitution of four (4) years. (Fifteen (15) semester hours in Information Technology or a related area is required
- Accredited graduate training in the above area may substitute for the required work experience with a maximum substitution of two (2) years. Successful completion of an Information Technology Certification program, may substitute for the required work experience with a maximum substitution of two (2) years. (Proof of certification must accompany application
- Two (2) years of work experience as a Database Analyst-Senior; Data Administrator; Data Warehousing Administrator; Database Analyst-Intermediate; Data Warehousing Analyst may substitute for all of the required experience.
SKILL MATRIX:
- Prior experience writing stored procedures in PL/SQL - Required
- Prior experience working in an hands on capacity with Oracle 10g and above - Required
- Prior exposure to Erwin database modeling tool - Required
- Prior experience working with Oracle 12c - Highly desired
- Prior experience modeling database architecture - Highly desired
- Previous State Government experience - Nice to have
- Strong verbal and written communication skills - Required
