Our direct client is looking for a Sr Data Analyst, Business Analyst for a Contract in Harrisburg, PA.
Job Description:
- Routinely perform both data analysis and business analysis tasks
- Help analyze educational data sets from sources both internal and external to the Client to determine available data elements, possible matching points, and integration strategies
- Assist with the definition, evaluation, and calculation of key educational performance metrics
- Help foster a culture of data-informed analytical evaluation to improve education
- Sit at the intersection between technology, policy, and executive leadership to inform, influence, and support data informed decisions on educational policy
Skills Required:
- Ability to interpret large amounts of data, multi-task, and produce results independently or collaboratively in a team environment
- Capable of analyzing large sets of information from multiple sources, formulate/validate hypotheses, make recommendations, and summarizing complex data nuances to senior stakeholders
- Thinks holistically to create innovative scalable solutions to data analysis problems
- Ability to standardize, cleanse and prepare data for reporting using Excel and SQL and automate such processes where possible.
- Gather requirements, meet with stakeholder groups, write report specifications and document processes and procedures.
