Our direct client is looking for a .Net/VB, PL/SQL, Oracle 12c, T-SQL, SQL Server Developer for a Long Term Contract position in Harrisburg, PA.
Role Description:
- Primary job as senior developer working on an Oracle to SQL Server migration project.
- This is for a mission critical disease surveillance application that is now in the midst of migrating off of Oracle 12C to Microsoft to SQL Server.
Skill Matrix:
- PL/SQL developer / Experienced with Oracle 12C on Microsoft Windows platform - Required - 10 Years
- .NET/VB developer - Required - 10 Years
- Experience with SQL Server DB and TSQL - Required - 10 Years
- Experience with Microsoft SSIS - Required - 3 Years
- Good practical experience in Oracle Database concepts, Database objects, Memory management, DBMS Transaction details - Required
- Experience in DB and development security implementations - Required
- Strong data analysis and problem solving skills - Required
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written - Required
- Exposure to any ETL tool and good understanding of ETL concepts - Required
- MS certifications - Highly desired
- Experience using Microsoft Test Manager (MTM) - Highly desired
- Conversant in Agile methodology of project execution preferable - Highly desired
- Working knowledge with Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS) - Highly desired
