Our direct client is looking for a Oracle APEX/J2EE developer for a Long term contract in Richmond, VA
Job Details:
- We are looking for an experienced and creative Oracle Apex Developer who wants to work collaboratively with others in a fast-paced environment.
- Applicant should have In depth knowledge of Oracle Database (10g, 11g and 12c), SQL, PL/SQL programming.
- Knowledge in software package installation, change management and testing is preferable.
- Strong designing, development and trouble shooting skills required.
- Knowledge of object oriented design concepts, J2EE, JDeveloper, Eclipse, XML, HTML, web scripting tools and PVCS.
- Good oral and written communication skills are required.
- Applicants must have strong multitasking capabilities and the ability to work on multiple projects/issues simultaneously.
- Applicants must have the ability to assess the impact of software upgrades and other environment changes.
SKILL MATRIX:
- Web application development using oracle database – Required
- Solid work experience is required in Oracle Database (10g, 11g and 12c), SQL, PL/SQL programming – Required
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery. – Required
- Application development experience using oracle APEX - Highly desired
- UI framework using Java Swing and AWT, java packaging tools (jars) - Nice to have
- Mobile application development using java, Struts, Struts2, Spring, Web Services and ORM tool Hibernate and JPA - Nice to have
- Excellent Skills in developing data models and system designs – Required
- Strong ability to write efficient SQL queries and tune complex SQL queries – Required
- Working experience in oracle apex web services and mobile application development - Highly desired
- Experience with apex 5.0 - Highly desired
