Our direct client is looking for a Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer for a Contract in Richmond, VA.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Client is looking for a Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer, who will be working with the following responsibilities.
Design relational models for small and large scale applications
Design, code, test, debug, and document complex database programs to ensure that data processing in production systems meet user needs.
Develop and provide support to all system interfaces and coordinate with all project managers to provide specifications for all core modules.
Coordinate with various developers, project managers and analyst to prepare designs for new applications and documents all processes to ensure effective evaluation of all applications.
Analyze and ensure efficient transition of all technical design documents and develop various SQL packages to provide support to all application developers.
Monitor and recommend changes if required to all PL/ SQL packages and provide stored procedures and design and develop various relational database.
Evaluate all architecture for Oracle applications and prepare layouts for all logical models and maintain database objects for various application components.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues
Design relational models for small and large scale applications
Provide data analysis and validation
Identification of performance issues on production and testing systems
PL/SQL and SQL Tuning and Optimization of newly develop and existing applications
Developers will work with the Teams which are working on Agile Development, Devops and TFS. Client will consider, if the candidate have any working -knowledge/experience in those areas.
SKILL MATRIX:
- Write and maintain/extend existing PL/SQL code to convert initial data sets, system enhancements, reports production, and improved transaction editin - Required - 5 Years
- Strong development experience and/or equivalent development skills, knowledge and work history - Required - 5 Years
- SQL Statement Tuning and Analysis - Required - 5 Years
- Oracle 11g/ 12C PL/SQL, Toad, SQL PLUS , SQL Developer and any other Development Tools - Required - 5 Years
- SQL Loader, Import and Export - Required - 5 Years
- Source Code and Team Management software (TFS preferred) - Desired - 5 Years
- SQL Server 2014 development skills - Desired - 3 Years
- Oracle Developer Certification 11g/12c - Nice to have
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems - Nice to have
