Our direct client is looking for a Senior Data Warehouse Developer for a Contract in Harrisburg, PA.
The position serves as a senior data warehouse developer in Client''s Bureau of Business Solutions & Services.
Job Description:
- The position serves as a senior data warehouse developer in Client''s Bureau of Business Solutions & Services. The incumbent will perform new development and maintenance for an enterprise data warehouse built on an Oracle 12c platform.
- This individual will also do analysis, design, and development of ETL using Oracle PL/SQL and Informatica PowerCenter 10.1.
- The incumbent will develop and maintain tables, create views, write queries, build PL/SQL packages, write stored procedures, triggers and functions, and design and develop complex ETL processes.
- This position requires the ability to read and interpret physical data models, primarily dimensional models. Technologies leveraged include Oracle 12c, PL/SQL, - Informatica PowerCenter 10.1, and Erwin 9.5.
Specific Duties:
- Perform intensive data analysis on source system data bases. Analyze and understand source system database, find required data, and profile the data.
- Develop Oracle SQL and PL/SQL code, including packages, procedures, functions, views and complex analytical queries.
- Develop complex ETL using Oracle PL/SQL and Informatica PowerCenter
- Diagnose, analyze, troubleshoot and choose appropriate solution to fix data related issues.
- Meet with end users and technical staff to gather data requirements

- 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study with advanced study - Highly desired
- Oracle development experience that includes writing complex SQL and PL/SQL, and doing performance tuning - Required - 7 Years

- Informatica PowerCenter ETL development experience - Required - 2 Years
- Strong oral and written communication skills - Required
