Responsibilities:
Hands-on experience with modern dashboard and data discovery tools; Tableau a must
Extensive expertise with SQL to support BI tool usage and ad-hoc business specific data analysis; knowledge of other analytics/scripting languages such as Python a big plus
Practical experience with technologies within big data and Hadoop ecosystem (Spark, Impala, Hive, etc as well as knowledge of trending technologies and their potential use within BI and analytics space
Outgoing and excellent communicator (verbal, written) – can speak with both IT colleagues from technical standpoint as well as with business partners who are less technical especially in a training setting
Qualifications:
B.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other technical/analytic discipline
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in hands on data, reporting and analytics role while forming strong partnerships and interfacing directly with the business
Digital marketing/CRM domain knowledge preferably within CPG and/or direct-to-consumer company
Experience working on cross functional team of IT, business stakeholders, and both on-shore and off-shore technical/dev team resources
