·3+ years of experience in Automotive embedded development
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Engineering. Proven work experience in embedded software engineering .      
Hands on experience in designing real-time applications in C or C++
Knowledge of software version control and issue management software  ·        
Ability to develop software in C or C++ and use a scripting language  ,·
Experience in developing embedded applications using at least one popular tool chain (Wind River, Workbench, Green Hills MULTI, Freescale Code Warrior, Xilinx SDX)
Experience with automated software unit testing, software integration testing, or static analysis tools
Mastery in software engineering tools
Working knowledge of automotive communications protocols such as CAN, LIN, SPI and I2C
Ability to document requirements and specifications using DOORS, Excel or Word
Familiarity with software development methodology and release processes
Embedded SW ENGGDuties/Responsibilities:
Design, implement, unit test, review and troubleshoot embedded software written in embedded C ·        
Participate in software requirement analysis, architecture design and detailed software design
Communicate cross functionality to evaluate interface between hardware and software and operational and performance requirements of the overall system
Knowledge in developing software validation test procedures and in software configuration management tools
Experience with current 32bit microcontrollers, ST PowerPC and Atmel Tiny ARM family are a plus
Experience working with Functional Safety concepts and requirements is a plus
Experience working with JTAG tool, board bring ups, interface design and embedded peripherals
Conduct software requirements, design and code review
Design experience with configuring protocols with Vector tools (GENy), FNOS and GMLAN a plus
Working knowledge of bootloaders
