Applications Developer/Analyst II
What Project/Projects will the candidate be working on while on assignment Candidates will be working on Medicare and Retirement Projects in either the claims or eligibility realm.

Responsibilities for this position
? Analyze, develop technical solutions and code to meet business requirements
? Implements coding practices consistent with defined conventions
? Performs unit and comprehensive testing for overall quality assurance of functional and technical quality of deliverables
? Tracks the project status and communicates status to scrum team as appropriate
? Actively participates in all sprint meetings (Planning, Grooming, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Review and Retrospectives)
? Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
? Providing accurate and timely estimates for technical tasks
Software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily responsibilities-
Required skills
? 5 or more years of development experience
? Experience with COBOL, CICS, IBM mainframe OR Java development
? Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail
? Must be able to collaborate and well with other teams
? Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred or skills/attributes are nice to have
? Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
? Healthcare industry experience and exposure to EDI and HIPAA transactions
? Experience with the Agile methodology
? JAVA experience, JQuery, Webservices (SOAP & REST)
? Bachelor''s degree (or higher) in Computer Science
? CMS, Medicare or Medicaid experience
? Development experience on a claims adjudication platform
? Experience working in a virtual team environment
? Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies
Client facility is Eden Prairie, MN (other potential locations - Basking Ridge, NJ or Cypress, CA)
Work hours 8:30 am to 5 pm
