Field Support Tech 

Rate: $negotiable

Duration: 12 Months 

Location: Findlay, Ohio



Job Responsibilities: 

Candidate for this position should have basic experience with IT infrastructure which will include network and server environments to perform hands and feet activity and basic cabling requirements.  The Field Support Tech will provide direct response and resolution to the requestor consistent with the agreed upon SLA’s.

The position of field support tech requires excellent customer service, time punctuality, reliability, and attention to detail are essential. management skills,



Skills and Requirements:


Install/troubleshoot phone jacks / network wire drops
Knowledge in troubleshooting hardware and connectivity issues.
Rack/stack equipment duties for IT equipment
Removal of IT equipment
Datacenter escort of vendors for services and or other guests as required
Hands/Feet duties within data center (including but not limited to duties such as equipment power off/on, patch cabling within equipment racks, visual inspection of equipment on regular basis and reporting on issues/concerns)
Handling backup/restore tape processes



Troubleshoot problems with hardware vendors (TV’s, Cable Connectivity, PA Speakers, Fire Alarm, Security Sytems, HVAC, printers, etc)
Assist with hardware ordering, inventory of materials, settings and configs, layouts as requested
Assist customer with audio and video setups and troubleshooting during mtgs across multiple locations.
Assist with Network physical setup in new warehouses / plants.
Help in troubleshooting legacy phone lines etc.
