Client Onboarding Project Manager
Project Managers are responsible for leading the successful onboarding of new clients with a variety of payment programs (Purchasing, Travel and Virtual Payment Programs Project Managers are client facing and have various internal stakeholder groups that they regularly interact with to complete implementations. This position is also responsible for the project plan, budget, and documentation for all aspects of the specific project at the direction of the Vice President of Global Implementation & Integration.
Responsibilities include:
\tOwn client relationships from completed sale through successful go live
\tLead the implementation phase for new clients including project scope definition, project plan development, project resources and project timeline
\tDemonstrate proficiency by providing effective consultation to clients and guidance to internal team members on implementation goals, objectives, and program setup
\tDefine program requirements and obtaining approval of final requirements
\tDevelop and execute plans supporting risk mitigation, communications & training and testing
\tAppropriate and timely escalation of project concerns and potential solutions
\tHold weekly status update meetings with the client and representatives from stakeholder groups and provide weekly meeting agendas and minutes
\tPrepare both internal and client correspondence, reports, and presentations
\tCoordinate internal resources, develop a detailed project plan, and maintain comprehensive project documentation
\tDevelop and maintain strong client relationships
\tAdvocate for clients throughout the entire onboarding/implementation process.
\tConduct project post-mortems and create recommendations based on lessons learned and identify both successful and unsuccessful project elements and establish best practices for project execution
Basic-
\tBachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
\t3-5 years of project management
\t3-5 years of onboarding experience
\tExperience working with cross functional teams
Preferred-
\tThorough knowledge of the payments industry and working with government agencies
\tDemonstrated leadership skills
\tStrong organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills
\tAdvanced knowledge of project management
\tExcellent written and verbal communication skills
