I have a production support role open in Charlotte, NC
Needs a Java Production support with Splunk. All monitoring will be done in Splunk, would like this person to understand it and know it well. The biggest issue has been needing "developer" type candidates that will not be developing 100% of the time. This is a production support role still. Need Java exp in an enterprise environment. Need to rank themselves at least a 4/5
Job Description Monitor and support applications for 100% SLA meets On call support Flexible shift support weekday/weekends/day/evening shifts supporting onshore duties in a 24/7 follow-the-sun support model Willing to provide support after office hours, weekends and stay on call when business needs Production Ticket/Issue Triage Preparing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Incident Summary Review (ISR) document(s) Partner with Application team, CCO, Level 3 support teams to resolve issues Prepare and/or review Impact Analysis based on issue analysis Hands on experience with L1 / L2 / L3 support work load. Write scripts to automate mundane daily BAU tasks Log analysis Follow the release management and code deployment process to migrate the code changes and support production change control. If any. Consumer (desirable) and Investment Banking (vital) domain experience
Required Job Skills: B.S / B.E./ B Tech / Basic Networking Intermediate level Java Advance level Unix Sound working knowledge on Ms-Office and Ms-Visio Effective Communication – Clear, Concise & Ability to articulate Problem/Solution to audiences of varying technical/business backgrounds Should be able to lead conference calls with tech and business users Good documentation skills – Required to close the tickets and/or send updates/reports to various stakeholders
