Job Description :
Position Summary: The Sr. Business Intelligence Developer is responsible for designing and developing complex Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) procedures to feed data into the Enterprise Data Repository from various data sources. Must be a self-starter who enjoys problem solving, researching techniques and methodologies to produce effective, complete and reliable solutions. Has thorough knowledge of data warehousing, BI tools, and ETL systems. This role requires excellent understanding of the Microsoft BI stack, and be particularly strong with ETL development in SSIS, T-SQL, and use of Stored Procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers and functions to support ETL (Extract, Transform & Load) process.
Create, maintain, and design source to target mapping and implementation documents to support ETL processes. Refresh target data marts with data from heterogeneous sources.
Responsible for query optimizations and performance tuning of various MS BI objects.
Develop and maintain production notification processes to efficiently track and report automated jobs.
Provide 24/7 off-hours support as needed.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Expert in SQL 2014/2016, SSRS, SSIS, and PowerBI.
Minimum five years’ experience in MS data warehouse environment.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills with accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work well independently with minimal supervision, manage multiple priorities, and remain flexible in a dynamically changing environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be a persuasive speaker and presenter.

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Development experience with # scripting and SSAS.
Experience with version control using GIT and TFS.
