Position: AWS - Terraform Developer

Description:
Automate configuration and deployment of SaaS products on our cloud platform solutions
Continuously seek performance improvements in the areas of system automation and management. Solve complex problems by applying advanced troubleshooting techniques in Systems, Networking and Applications
Build out a robust system to auto-scale our platform and work closely with our development engineers and other cross-functional teams to improve the build model, and continuous automated deployment and delivery to production environment.
Implement systems improvements by assessing current situation; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements
Problem Analysis (identifying abnormalities, etc and resolution, monitoring and documenting
Perform daily/weekly/monthly maintenance duties for supported environments
Work closely with the Infrastructure Operations team as part of 24×7 support team to establish on-call schedules and collaboratively plan and execute off-hour provisioning, maintenance and operations activities for the HI infrastructure
Running and maintaining a 24×7 IoT production environment, across multiple data centers, involving thousands of systems

Requirements:
Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent experience
Expert experience with AWS
Expert experience in all aspects of system administration and engineering (familiar with RHEL, Ubuntu or similar)
Expert knowledge using git version control system
Expert knowledge using configuration management and automation frameworks such as Ansible or Chef
Expert knowledge with Cloud automation technologies including Terraform or AWS Cloud Formation Familiarity with a Platform as a Service (PaaS) technologies
Knowledge of Docker and containerization technologies
Experience deploying or managing web services in large-scale, geographically diverse environments
Expert experience in development of systems management and administration automation in a high-level scripting language (Python, Javascript, Bash, Ruby, PowerShell)
Knowledge of Networking technologies (i.e. TCP, Load Balancing, Routing, Switching, Firewalls)
