Position: Lab System Support

Location: Somerset, NJ or Kansas City, MO

Job Type: Contract or Fulltime



Description:



Should have good knowledge of LabVantage, SQL*LIMS system architecture and functionality
Hands on experience in configuration, customization and deployment of LabVantage LIMS (preferably version 8.0 and above)
Interface with Project Management to insure strong communication regarding timelines, deliveries, project issues and changes
Should have handled Administrative responsibilities for Lab system applications
Participate in interface activities (Instrument-Application, Application-Application)
Work with vendors and other support teams to prioritize, escalate as necessary, and resolve identified technical issues and problems
Communicate issues and status to internal user community
Contribute subject matter expertise during root cause analysis and problem-solving activities during system outages
Identify, review, evaluate and implement help to implement all applicable system modifications, enhancements or upgrades
Responsible for completion and/or input of required documentation of Lab Systems including standard operating procedures, change controls, computer system validation and other related materials
Support multiple company sites for both global and site-specific scientific systems
Provide support for client and regulatory agency audits of computerized systems
Communicate with Infrastructure Team for troubleshooting support issues and system implementations
Should have good command on SQL Queries (able to write complex queries) either in Oracle or MS SQL
Very good communication skills
Experience of working with offshore teams




Preferences:


Should have LabVantage Certification
Should have prior experience in TrackWise application (to handle Change Control)
Good knowledge of GXP processes
