Job Description :
We should be looking for Systems Engineers who’ve worked on Linux systems and has heavy experience with data bases.
Must Haves:
Linux
Python scripting
Some type of database knowledge (SAP HANA, Oracle, DB2, MySQL are examples)
Experience with hardware server technology (Dell, IBM, Cisco or HP are examples)
Primary Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
Must have Python development experience as it relations to automating solutions. Experience in design, coding, unit testing, and system testing of integration solutions.
In depth knowledge of Linux and other related systems like storage and servers.
In-depth knowledge in Linux kernel, device driver, networking, utilities, and clustering.
Experience with one of the following - SAP HANA, Oracle, DB2, MySQL, or PostgreSQL database for development & testing.
Hands on experience with Hitachi/IBM/HP/Cisco/Dell server technology is a plus.
Hands on experience with Hitachi/IBM/HP/EMC/NetApp storage arrays is a plus.
Performance tuning is a plus.
A team player and fast technology adoption is a must.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent problem solver and ability to work independently.
Excellent internal and external customer skills
