Position : AWS Redshift Datalake Architect
Location : Houston, TX

Description :
Minimum Skills:
·Clear written and verbal communicator with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
·Strong individual contributor able to operate in a fast-paced agile team with frequent product releases
·Current expertise with AWS cloud solutions as listed below
·Senior level technical delivery at the Enterprise level with hands on involvement, not leadership of teams doing the work
EMR and RedShift:
·Experience getting RedShift to work within the AWS VPC without direct outbound internet connection
·Experience with Encryption settings for AWS PaaS Services.
·Experience setting up Kerberos Authentication for EMR.
·Automation experience in managing EMR Clusters to save on costs.
·Create instance, configure it, maintain it.
·Run PySpark scripts on a scheduled or trigger basis.
·Troubleshoot errors.
·Instantiate, configure, maintain it.
·Create tables and load data.
·Use Spectrum feature.
·Troubleshoot performance issues.
·Optimize.
S3:
·Firm knowledge of best practice recommendations for a DataLake on AWS using S3 and related services.
·Security Settings in General and for a DataLake implementation.
Spark Scripts:
·PySpark Development experience.
