Infrastructure Monitoring Dynatrace SME Position Description:
The client has an immediate need for an Infrastructure Monitoring Dynatrace SME to join our financial services team in Reston, VA.
Duties and responsibilities:
The successful candidate will: Support the Application Performance Management implementation of business critical application on-boarded on private and public (AWS) cloud;
Support enterprise monitoring activities using Dynatrace, AppMon;
Provide hands-on design, configuration, module upgrade, planning and implementation;
Diagnose and resolve incidents; implement appropriate corrective actions for known errors;
Troubleshoot performance issues; track ongoing status of any incidents through resolution.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
5+ years of strong technical experience with Dynatrace, Digital experience management, APM Experience with monitoring and reporting tools such as IBM Netcool Omnibus / Impact / ITNM,, NetIQ, Splunk
Exposure to ServiceNow and Service Management/ITIL framework and concepts (Incident, Change, Asset Management)
Proven demonstrated troubleshooting skills
System administration and maintenance experience in a large enterprise environment Exposure to Java/J2EE, PERL, and UNIX Shell Scripting
