A part of that challenge is truly having solid coding skills. It goes beyond just being a designer that knows some code. We’re full-stack and front-end engineers with real design skills. Code is our medium but user experience is our discipline. We love coding, but we also love user interfaces, interaction design, user experience, usability, UI design patterns, etc.
The ability to craft working interactive prototypes, in the same medium the user will use them, without the need for additional engineering assistance
Proficiency at handcrafting HTML, CSS & JavaScript
Experience developing with programming frameworks and libraries such as AngularJS, React, Ruby on Rails, jQuery, django, etc.
Experience working with version control technologies like Git
Eagerness to learn and expand your skills
Experience with UX concepts and a passion for user-centered design
Talent for collaborating to forge elegant solutions
Relevant education (Computer Science, HCI, design, etc
What you will do:
Work with designers, researchers, and other partners to develop and visually polish hi-fidelity Web interfaces
Participate in user testing to gain a better understanding of user needs
Sketch concepts, wireframes, and prototypes to find creative and innovative solutions to problems
Participate in product and design processes with various teams
