Job description: 



Our Client is seeking Technical Team Leads / Solution Architects with a strong technical background working within an IT department to participate on development efforts by performing detailed analysis, developing detailed designs, and providing day-to-day technical guidance to the implementation team. Will be required to prepare detailed system and program specifications aligned with client standards.  May be required to manage technical aspects of small to medium sized projects.



Qualified candidates must:

               Facilitate a collaborative approach to problem solving and make well-reasoned decisions. 

               Demonstrate good analytical abilities and technical skills. 

               Be detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills to manage competing priorities

               Have an understanding of application design principles and application architecture. 

               Prepare detailed system and program specifications aligned with client standards. 

               Estimate development work including all technical components

               Manage testing through to project implementation

The ability to effectively communicate and work with all levels of the organization, including senior management and business users, is essential (in writing, by phone, or in person  Expected to ensure customer requests for information are addressed and follow up occurs resulting in superior customer satisfaction.



Knowledge of / prior experience with health insurance business is highly preferred such as Claims Processing, Provider networks, Billing, Medical management (Case, Disease, and Utilization) processes, Correspondence solutions, and Documentation Solutions. 



Technologies involved but not limited to ETL (Informatica), SOA, and Java.



Required Skills:  



Five (5) years of experience with demonstrated results in building, designing, purchasing and integrating systems or demonstrated equivalent knowledge required.

Experience in Business Intelligence or Integration technologies.

Experience with methodology based development. 

Advanced understanding of application design principles and application architecture.

Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture and technology strategy necessary to support business goals.

Exceptional ability to build rapport and credibility with both technical and non-technical staff.

Experience writing and facilitating Requests for Information/Proposals.

Ability to navigate and work on multiple operating systems such as Linux, AIX, or Windows.

Ability to work as part of a team or to be self-directed as required.

Good organizational and project management skills including demonstrated success in leading medium to large sized project teams.

Good oral and written communication skills. 

Knowledge of health care business is preferred.
